PDF formatting

Hi all,

We recently updated to version 4.1.1 and we've noticed that when we generate PDF copies of resource records, each archival object now has a line for the IDs that display under the object title. For example: "ID [aspace_uri]: /repositories/2/archival_objects/2164" Or, some of our older ones migrated from Archivists Toolkit have ones like "ID [Archivists Toolkit Database::RESOURCE_COMPONENT]: 1996"

We find these lines unnecessary and distracting on the PDFs. Is there a way to suppress this from displaying on the PDF?

You could edit your as-ead-pdf.xsl and take those out manually.

Hi all,

 

I brought this topic up a few months back but hadn’t heard anything from the group. Happy to see there is now a ticket as we also find these unnecessary in PDF generation. We don’t currently have the PUI implemented and so our PDF generation is for both a staff workflow and donor or researcher review.

 

We just upgraded to 4.1.1 in production as well and are definitely going to want these suppressed if possible.
