Hi all,

I'm trying to test uploading to ArchivesSpace using bulk_import_template.csv.

I have a resource with the URL "https://as.amphilsoc.org/staff/resources/3075" that I would like to add children to. I'm filling in res_uri for this, which it says is the required field (or the EAD one). I've tried a few variations and I always get the error:
ERROR Input resource's URI [] does not match row's URI [https://as.amphilsoc.org/staff/resources/3075]
I tried 3075, /resources/3075, /staff/resources/3075 (both trying to follow this answer), and the full URL.

Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong?

Thanks,
Paul

Hi Paul,
If I'm understanding correctly, it looks like you're using part of the resource's URL in the "res_uri" field. What you'll want to use instead is the "URI" field in the staff side of the ArchivesSpace interface, which is generated with each resource record creation. You can view a resource record's URI when you look at it in "View mode." I've included a screenshot of one of ours for your reference.

I hope this helps!

Thank you Tessa!

From memory that used to be exactly the same as the URL here, so I hadn't clocked that it might be different now.

Works perfectly.

Hi Paul,

In our ASpace instance we have made a URI column visible in the resources list screen. It makes the URI very easy to read and use when bulk importing archival objects into resources:
