Just a quick question to see if anyone has been running AS against MariaDB 11?

Thanks!
Joshua

Yes, and I had problems with it. In our case it was because MariaDB 11 has SSL enabled by default. It's optional, but since it's there, the JDBC wants to use it, but it wasn't working because the MariaDB server didn't have a valid certificate. My fix was to add "&useSSL=false" to the connection string in config.rb.

Someone else had a problem with it and their fix was to use an updated version of the JDBC, though they may have also done the thing I did.

No but we use Maria DB 10.x

Do you know if there are big changes in 10–>11?

I should have noted that we had problems going from MariaDB 10 to 11. We did not have any problems with 10.

Thanks!

We're currently running 10.11 and checking on 11.x issues.

One reason we're looking at 11.x is that we're seeing some DB errors (thankfully no data corruption that we can find) that may be related to 10.11. Its hard to diagnose because the errors are random and we're running in a kubernetes environment, so lots of moving parts.

We couldn’t even login until we updated the JDBC (went from 5.1.26 to 5.1.47).  Haven’t seen any problems, but testing was VERY brief.  This was on our test environment.  Haven’t upgrade production yet.
