Problems with Actionable URIs...Request for Help

Good afternoon and Happy Friday!

 

I am working on creating actional URIs so that the pdf of our Finding Aids will open from w/i ASpace. I’ve been told I need to create an “actional URI” and I have found the section of the user manual about attaching links to external documents. HOWEVER…I’m still doing something wrong as my external document will not launch from within ASpace.

 

Has anyone successfully used this link that would be willing to take a quick call and help me structure my path correctly? (I believe that’s where the issue lies…)

Hi Vivian Lea,

This is what we currently use for a similar situation. It’s in an “Other Finding Aids” note, but could probably go anywhere:
