Voting for Governance Board positions opens soon

The ArchivesSpace governance model is built on the principles of maintaining a high level of community engagement and fostering an active and responsive community. It provides opportunities for all levels of our membership to participate in and provide guidance for the development of the ArchivesSpace application and community activities.

This year we have elections for three positions on the Governance Board, for the representative for institutions at the Large, Small, and Very Small membership levels. The elected persons will serve a three-year term from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2029. Each member organization at these levels will get one vote in this election and we expect to open voting later this week. The Voting Member we have on record for each eligible organization will be sent a link to their ballot via email once voting opens.

If you have any questions about this election, please let Christine Di Bella know at christin...@lyrasis.org. A big thank you to all those who have volunteered to serve, and thanks in advance to everyone for voting.
