Dear ArchivesSpace member community,

An ArchivesSpace member organization reached out to the ArchivesSpace program team and is curious if any community members have successfully implemented ArchivesSpace running against a MySQL database hosted in Google Cloud Platform. Their IT department would like to migrate from on-prem MySQL to GCP MySQL.  We dont have any examples of an organizations implementing ArchivesSpace in this way and I was hoping the member community could help fill in with use cases. Any information about successful implementations would be greatly appreciated, as well as any considerations for setup specific to GCP.

It would be great if you’d post your response here, the user group listserv.  However, if you’d prefer to reach out separately, you can always email us at Archives...@lyrasis.org.

Best,

Jessica
