We’re running into an issue with an accession that has only started in the last few weeks. The accession has 1732 linked instances, and we worked with Atlas to confirm that the issue is happening client-side. We can view the accession, but when we attempt to edit, we run out of memory. I’ve tried opening it on a powerful computer and still run into issues (and our archivists are not on the most powerful machines, so it’s not a true solution). We’re going to split the accession up into multiple, but wondering if other institutions with large accessions have recently run into issues? Again – view is fine, but edit is inaccessible.
The record hasn’t been altered in five years, and we haven’t recently done anything server-side to create a problem. It’s our only accession of this scale.
