How to update localization on staff-side finding aide PDFs?

Hello,

I need assistance updating the localizations for the staff-side finding aide PDFs. Specifically, I am trying to change the 'Physical Description' label under 'Summary Information' to say "Extent". I have tried updating the following en.yml files, both in the root level 'locales' folder and also inside of our local plugin, but nothing seems to be sticking:

 

locales/enums/en.yml
locales/public/en.yml
plugins/local/frontend/locales/en.yml

 

I can see the changes appearing in the Controlled Value List editor, though changing these to the 'Default' setting has not made a difference. Please see below screenshots of the updated localization files and CVL.

Hi Jake!

The en.yml settings will change what you're seeing in the interface, but the PDFs are generated from the EAD xml, via XSLT.  With some effort, you can customize the pdfs though! 

To change the PDF, take a look at the xslt stylesheets:

For the Summary Information labels, you'll probably need to adjust as-helper-functions.xsl
