Sorry for not being present recently as I dealt with family issues.  I am not sure if I am still secretary and have a voice/vote.  Was this pre-authorized, as I believe I recall that such tabling reimbursements were not normally the responsibility of the board.

Hi Jami,

Thank you for responding. I'm sorry to hear about life just life-ing at the moment.

"such tabling reimbursements were not normally the responsibility of the board."

Historically, these matters have been addressed on a case-by-case basis. Ideally, we'd have a more consistent policy, but we've just dealt with them as they arise. California is the most populous state in the nation and as such, it really is to the benefit of the organization to have a presence. I understood fronting the $250 necessary was a risk. I am also unemployed at the moment.  I did offer to contact the LPRC members in CA to recoup at least part of the cost. The CA state coordinator did not respond to my offer, so I am left to ask the board for reimbursement. Thank you for your understanding.

In Liberty,
Richard Fast
