Stepping back from SC role

On the last call I shared that I would be leaving the board, vacating the interim secretary and SC roles.  I just wanted to add some color to the decision on the latter.

I have held the post of SC/OR for well over a year.  In that time, there have been no state RC activities, because there are no other Oregon RC members in any meaningful sense.  I have also failed to recruit anyone to become a member or even an active supporter.

To my way of thinking, that level of representation (me alone) does not warrant a board seat.

I can still be a contact who looks for candidates and opportunities within my state without being SC.
