The attached spreadsheet shows the delegate allocation using the sustaining members numbers from yesterday. It also shows the percentage of sustaining members in each region. The delegate allocation for the 2022 Convention will use the number of sustaining members on or postmarked by October 31. The same numbers are used for regional formations, with regions entitled to one representative and one alternate for each 10% of sustaining membership within affiliate parties.

Yes, we will plan another update around the 21st!

Also me·a cul·pa - apologies as the Holiday party will not be free to staff or LNC Members as this will not be pegged a meet-&-greet. The ticket for this will be $150 per person. Tara will be sending out an invite / link by early next week.

The delegate allocation spreadsheet sent Wednesday had incorrect Presidential vote numbers for some of the states. The vote numbers were from the spreadsheet sent to the state chairs on July 8. The corrected spreadsheet with the numbers from the FEC is attached. I apologize for not checking these. The net result is one more delegate for New York and no change for the other states. Please forward to your regions or to the state chairs list.

Ms. Harlos found the error in the Presidential vote numbers she sent in July.

ENOUGH!

It is readily apparent that a MINOR error was made somewhere,  UNINTENTIONALLY and was very quickly corrected. On numbers that ARE NOT EVEN FINAL!

Everyone was trying to do the right thing, and help out.

Ms Robson especially was just trying to help out fellow state chairs and should never have been drug into this.

The bickering is unnecessary, and a few other words.  We have all embarrassed this body more than enough for one term, let's try to be adults for once and recognize that sometimes crap happens. What this bickering is doing, and has been doing for months, is stepping in it after.

Mrs Harlos, you are understandably on edge right now.
Mr Hagan I feel your frustration on dealing with new things.

But all you are doing right now is embarrassing yourselves, and Ms Robson who is at most guilty of trying to be helpful and looking out for all the state chairs when many of them feel like WE WHO WERE ELECTED TO DO SO ARE NOT.

Drop it. It was a simple error that was not worth all this.

If you cannot then keep it between yourselves and quit dragging the name of a valued state chair and activist down into the mud of our own creation.

And if you are now claiming BSM is different that’s a different issue.  I’m talking about presidential totals.  That was always what I’m talking about.

I have my original spreadsheet.  The numbers are correct.  Do not drag Mimi into this.  Professionalism required you ask ME.  You didn’t.  That is childish.

Please correct your misrepresentation that my numbers were wrong.  THEY WERE NOT.

I don't want to be accused of changing numbers, so please ask for the spreadsheet from Mimi. I just care that we're now using correct numbers for the eight states. This is what I received from her:

I don’t know. . .what I used was the spreadsheet that Caryn Ann sent out to the state chairs on July 8th. The only numbers that I ever updated were the BSM and never checked the presidential vote numbers.  It was a link to the same google doc that she’s now updated as of September 21st

I downloaded the google sheet to an excel spreadsheet, so I have what I had originally downloaded if you want me to send that.  I am looking at it now and I have no idea where she got the BSM numbers because they are nowhere close to what they were in July so I think they may have been from the end of 2020.

Once again my numbers were correct.  Stop misrepresenting.  I just went back and checked AGAINST what I sent and they are correct.

You might have considered since I sent the chairs an editable spreadsheet that they could have accidentally changed the numbers.

It is indisputably ridiculous you didn’t just ask ME.  Please correct the record - there were not errors in my sheet or show me EXACTLY where they were.

I will let them know that you found the error in your numbers. As I already mentioned to you, the Presidential vote numbers and the spreadsheet came from you. They are your prior work that you sent to the state chairs on July 8, and a state chair sent to me after she updated the BSM numbers. You can ask Mimi for the July 8 spreadsheet. All I did was to update with more current BSM numbers and add the second sheet showing the regions. My mistake was not to check your numbers and ask you about the ones that didn't match. Yet you are publicly stating that I made incorrect delegate allocations, didn't use any of your prior work, am trying to get at you & erase you, and don't care about the convention.
