Hi everyone,
We're excited to welcome on new staff and contractors at LPHQ:
Iris Poole is our Operations Specialist. Iris is a part-time employee assisting with administrative support, customer service, events, and merchandising.
Iris has operations and development experience with other liberty-minded organizations so she understands our culture and mission. We're excited to bring her on board.
Austin Padgett is our short term Fundraising Contractor. Austin will be reaching out to potential major donors through his professional and personal network. He will also be helping us rebuild relationships with existing major donors and fine tuning some of our development processes. Austin has over 10 years experience in business development and sales in the ag tech and blockchain technologies sectors - these are areas where we are ripe to expand our network.
Brian McWilliams is a 20 year media relations and branding executive, who brings in-depth knowledge of the media landscape along with a new tactical strategy to the team. Brian is best known in the liberty world for his work as co-founder of the long-running Lions of Liberty podcast network, and began his path in libertarianism as a volunteer for Ron Paul's 2008 campaign. He will be lending his expertise to brand strategy, messaging, media outreach, and crisis communications. Brian has already begun working on a PR strategy plan to highlight our accomplishments, and to emphasize libertarian solutions (not just our grievances) to the world. Brian is a part time contractor.
We've outsourced most of our accounting and payroll now, which will take a load off of staff's shoulders and allow them to focus on fundraising, growth, and member/customer service.
We're onboarding one more contractor for social media soon. We'll get new staff listed on the website as soon as we catch up on other tasks.
