Appointment of Bill Redpath to vacancy in Ballot Access Committee where he would serve dual role of Ballot Access Coordinator (his present position) and also a voting member as an LNC appointee.

Policy Manual Change re: Convention Committee

The Policy Manual committee just met and attached please find proposals.

They are divided into several categories:

Adding things to standing agenda which have been our practice to do

Amendments to composition of Affiliate Support Committee and Convention Oversight Committee

Proposal for Related Parties (it is in Contracts and Contract Approval) as mandated by the LNC at our last online meeting

And revisions to move standing rules and special rules of order into appropriate places.  I thought those changes would be a bear, but it was pleasantly only three sections.

The regular amendments have standard markup.

The items to be moved from Special Rules of Order are highlighted green.  The items to be moved from Standing Rules are highlighted yellow.  The landing spots for them are noted in highlighted blue.

Just an FYI to everyone, our electronic monthly meetings are set by a special rule of order which limits them to two hours.  There is no way that all of this is going to be heard in two hours.  That special rule of order can be suspended by a 2/3 vote.
