Motion to form a committee to explore Starchild's headquarters building ideas

I seek a LNC Rep to make this motion. As an ALT I am not authorized to do so.

Motion:

The Chair shall appoint a committee of at least 3 but not more than 5 members from the LNC (including ALTs) on or before July 31, 2022, one of whom shall be appointed as Chair for the following purposes:
1. To explore the feasibility of buying a property in Northern Virginia in the vicinity of D.C. to serve as the Headquarters of the National Libertarian Party.
2. To identify specific properties in the target area currently for sale as examples of possible purchases.
3. To determine and report the current value of our headquarters in Alexandria, VA. (The staff shall assist the committee in this regard.)
4. To determine and report the current monthly operations costs for the present headquarters. (The Treasurer shall cooperate with the committee and provide the necessary information).
5. To estimate the monthly operations costs of operating a new facility.
6. To make recommendations for the use of the facility including a possible retail store for the LNC and other uses as the committee may determine, including but not limited to the ideas submitted by Starchild in the attached document.
7. The committee shall perform its work expeditiously and make an in-person report at the fall 2022 in-person meeting of the LNC. (30 minute time limit for the report itself. One hour for discussion and questions.)
