The Systems Engineering group at ServiceNow has openings for student interns for Summer 2021.

On a personal note, I've been here at SNOW for 141 days since leaving Playstation (after 17 years!). I'm having the time of my life working with dedicated, clueful folks who are committed to our customers and to each other. "Succeed as a Team" is a core company value, and we not only mean it, we *live* it.

My team in particular will be looking for a student who really wants to play with "email at scale", including delivery, monitoring, alerting, system administration automation and similar problems that come when you support "many" millions of customers each day (sorry, not allowed to be more specific). Linux, Python, Ansible, Postfix, Git and similar things are in our toolbox.

Details on the program are at the link below.

Please forward this to students that you think might be interested.

The position is extremely likely to be remote. I think that's almost certain to happen, but I can't promise.  This summer's interns were all remote. By all accounts it worked out pretty well.

If I had to bet, I'd say, yes.   There was talk that some people might be back in the office in June, but there's nothing definite.

If you're interested, or know someone who is, I'd suggest they apply and ask.  I'll try to find out more tomorrow.
