Hello Pirate Family and Happy Mid-Winter Break Friday Eve!

This has been such an amazing week as we actually felt temperatures above 32 degrees and given the deep freeze we have been in for what seems like months, there definitely was a sense of spring in the air and maybe, just maybe, we have gotten through the worst and will be on the upswing from here on out (here's to hoping!! 🤞).

I currently am out of the district as I have had the privilege of attending the American Association of School Administrators national conference in Nashville this week as I meet and learn alongside school superintendents from around the nation as we work to navigate the challenges & opportunities of AI, staff recruitment and retention, school safety, chronic absenteeism and much more.

We are just over two weeks away from one of the biggest events of the year as our PCS Music Department, in partnership with our PCS Music Boosters host the 22nd Annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser. In addition, we will also be hosting the ever popular Pinckney Business Expo in which booth admission fees will go directly to supporting our Pirate Music Program. Please carve out some time on Saturday, February 28 to join us at PCHS for this amazing event and help support our Pirate musicians and local businesses. GO PIRATES!!

Pinckney Community Education will be hosting two great opportunities to make memories for the entire family with the annual Mother/Son & Daddy/Daughter dances on March 6 and 7 respectively. Please visit www.pinckney.ce.eleyo.com to register today!

I am hoping everyone has a wonderful mid-winter break and can enjoy the four day weekend. Thank you for your continued support and engagement in the lives of our Pirates!! ♥️🏴‍☠️🖤🏴‍☠️
