Hello Pirate Family and Happy "Senior Last Day" Friday!! 

Although our Pirates are getting excited as we are now only two and a half weeks away from closing out the school year, our Senior Class of 2024 spent their last day with us today as they walked out the doors of PCHS for the last time as students and will now spend the remaining time getting ready to become graduates, with commencement ceremonies occurring on Sunday, June 2 at Pirate Stadium. Being an educator provides many moments that can be cherished, but seeing these young adults who have spent, for many, twelve plus years together, celebrate the end of this long awaited journey with smiles, laughter, hugs and tears is something that I will always treasure and as they say, "Is priceless". 

It's been a great week to celebrate our 7th-12th grade Pirate Band, Orchestra & Choir Musicians who performed their last concerts of the year this past week, with a special shout out to our Pirate Seniors who performed their last school concert ever! We are so proud of all our students, the parents who provide the continuous support and our amazing teachers in Mr. Welling, Ms. Green and Ms. Schuster, who will be conducting our final concert of the year next Wednesday as our 6th grade Band and Orchestra students grace the stage of the Jane Tasch. Great job Pirates!!

As we get closer to the summer months, there are always great events and opportunities for our students and families to stay engaged with our district and community. Please see the flyers below that provide info on some great events. Hope everyone has a great weekend as it will definitely begin feeling more like summer with temps expected to be in the mid 80's by Sunday and as we know, there is nothing better than summer time in Pinckney/Hamburg!! LET'S GO PIRATES!!
