Hello Pirate Family and Happy "Daylight Savings" Friday!

As Daylight Savings approaches this weekend, I find myself with mixed feelings about this time of year. On one hand, I’m not thrilled about losing an hour of sleep, but on the other, I’m excited for the extra hour of sunlight we’ll gain in the evenings—a sure sign that spring is just around the corner! Life is all about balance, right? We take the good with the bad. 😉

In other exciting news, the PCHS Mock Trial team had an incredible weekend! They competed in their regional competition against nine other teams and came out on top, taking 1st place! Congratulations to Ms. Rose and her talented team, who will now advance to the State Competition on March 21-22. We’re so proud of their hard work and dedication, and we know they’ll continue to make us proud. Go Pirates! 🏴‍☠️

This evening, our PCHS ACT2 Drama Club will be premiering their musical rendition of Mean Girls and if you have seen previous productions from this amazingly talented group of Pirates, you know how entertaining this show will be! Please see the flyer below for show times with tickets being purchased online or at the door.

As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting parents in our community and across Livingston County, our partners at LESA are excited to host the **First Annual Livingston County Parent Summit**. This event will cover a variety of essential topics, including parenting techniques, communication skills, mental health, and more, all led by local experts. Parents will also have the chance to explore a wide range of wellness resources, products, and services designed to promote family well-being.

Please see the details below for event times and location. We hope to see you there!

Once we adjust to losing that hour of sleep on Sunday, we’ve got some fantastic spring-like weather to look forward to next week, with temperatures climbing into the 50s and 60s 🌞! After dealing with all the nasty sickness going around, this is something we can all celebrate as we look forward to opening the windows and getting outside. Thank you for your continued support and engagement—we truly appreciate you! Wishing you an amazing weekend, and as always, GO PIRATES!!! 🏴‍☠️
