Hello Pirate Family and Happy "Congratulations Class of 2026" Friday!

It is hard to believe that in just one week, we will wrap up the 2025–26 school year and say goodbye to our incredible students! Before we close this chapter, we have a packed and exciting final 4½ days ahead. Our high schoolers will be taking their final exams, teachers will be finalizing lessons and assessments, and students in grades K–8 will be celebrating with our popular Field Day events, including Pathfinder’s much-anticipated Day of Awesomeness.

Adding to the excitement, the forecast is finally bringing summer weather, with temperatures climbing into the 70s/80s. It will be the perfect backdrop for students to cool off with a blast from the firehose!

We are also preparing for a bittersweet milestone as we celebrate the Class of 2026 at our Commencement Ceremony this Sunday at 10:00 AM in Pirate Stadium. Currently, the weather looks ideal for an outdoor celebration. As in previous years, we are proud to offer a live stream for family and friends who cannot attend in person or wish to join us virtually. You can access the live stream here:

Yesterday, students and staff across PCS came together to honor our graduates with the annual Senior Clap-Out. As always, the smiles, hugs, and heartfelt tears were a powerful reminder of the significance of this milestone and more importantly, a testament to the relationships, support, and love we share as a Pirate Family.

A special thank you to our PCHS counselors, Ms. Robinson and Ms. Braun, for organizing the “Kindergarten Clap-Out.” This meaningful new tradition took place following graduation rehearsal, as our seniors were celebrated by Kindergarteners proudly wearing their “Class of 2038” shirts — a joyful reminder that Once a Pirate, Always a Pirate! 🏴‍☠️🎓

Please enjoy the videos below of all the Senior Clap-Out events.

Have an amazing weekend as our small town community will be overflowing with Pirate Pride as we host both Art In the Park and Graduation. We are looking forward to ending our year strong next week while making special memories with our students, staff and families!

GO PIRATES!! 🏴‍☠️🎓♥️🖤
