Dear Students and Families,

The registration has been extended to February 28th, 2026. If you are interested in attending this field trip, please review the information below for details and next steps.

We are excited to invite 9th & 10th-grade students with an interest in business, marketing technology or finance to join us for Discover Days: Business & IT. This exclusive event is for Livingston County students who want to explore exciting careers in Business Management & Administration, Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, and Information Technology/ Cybersecurity!

This event will provide behind the scenes insight to real world careers, connect with local professionals, and discover how your interests today can lead to a successful future in these fast growing fields.

Event Name: Discover Days: Business & IT
Date: Friday, March 6, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Location: LakeTrust Credit Union 4605 S. Old US Hwy 23, Brighton MI 48114
Transportation and Lunch: Provided for all participants

This hands-on experience includes:

Presentations from Business/ IT professionals about their careers and training.
Interactive activities showcasing real-world job tasks.

Who Should Apply? This event is open to 9th & 10th-grade students who have expressed an interest in Business, Management, Marketing & Technology as documented on the Xello platform. Spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so interested students must complete a brief application to be considered.

How to Apply: Please complete this Google Form Application at the following link by February 26, 2026. Students will be notified of their acceptance by March 2, 2026. At that time the student and family will also need to complete a field trip permission form which will be due to your school counseling office by Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
