Hello Pirate Families and Happy "Mattress Sale" Friday!!

What gorgeous weather we’ve enjoyed these past few days! The sunshine and warmer temperatures are just what we needed to lift spirits and add a little extra spring to our step. Now, let’s talk about the big event tomorrow—because it’s too exciting not to mention! The Annual Music Booster Mattress Sale is happening at the Complex Gym from 10 AM to 5 PM. If you—or anyone you know—are in the market for a new mattress, this is the perfect chance to find a great deal while supporting a fantastic cause. We’ll have a wide selection of mattresses, plus flexible payment options like financing and layaway (yes, it’s still a thing!). Best of all, every purchase helps raise crucial funds for our talented Pirate musicians. So spread the word, stop by, and let’s make this sale a huge success!

What an incredible week for PCHS sports! The drama, the excitement—our Pirates are delivering "must-see moments", like junior Owen Zylka’s unforgettable walk-off grand slam against Tecumseh on Monday!  That clutch hit sealed a thrilling victory and sent Pirate fans into a frenzy. Way to go, Owen—and way to fight, Pirates! 🏴‍☠️

With the season in full swing, there’s no better time to show your support. Let’s keep this momentum rolling—Let's Go Pirates!!🏴‍☠️

Our Pirate track squads are on fire this season! This past week, they swept two home meets, claiming decisive victories over Jackson and Tecumseh. The excitement peaked last night as we celebrated our outstanding seniors—thank you for your leadership and dedication!

Next up for our tracksters is the Bulldog Invite in Brighton tomorrow. Let’s cheer our Pirates on as they chase more success!

Though nearly five years have passed since our community approved the bond, we’re still hard at work delivering key improvements. Construction on a new high school parking lot began this week, with Farley Hill’s lot scheduled for repaving as soon as school wraps up in June.

We recognize this work may cause some temporary disruptions—especially during spring athletics—but with the project’s scale and summer events (like graduation) on the horizon, delaying the start wasn’t an option.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we complete these vital upgrades! None of this would be possible without the incredible support our community showed years ago. Together, we’re ensuring our facilities meet the needs of students, staff, and visitors for years to come. Pirate Pride in action! 🏴‍☠️

What a perfect evening for community and connection! Last Thursday, Farley Hill Elementary hosted its annual Spring Carnival, bringing together students, staff, and families for a night filled with fun, laughter, and plenty of delicious hotdogs.

From exciting games to joyful reunions, the event was a wonderful reminder of what makes our Pirate Family so special. These moments of togetherness—where kids, parents, and staff all share smiles and create memories—are what truly define our community spirit.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped organize and attended this beloved tradition. Here’s to many more opportunities for Pirate pride and camaraderie! 🏴‍☠️

To our incredible families, community members, and supporters—your partnership means everything. When you stand behind our dedicated staff, you’re directly helping us inspire, educate, and empower our students. Together, we’re changing lives every day.

Wishing everyone a joy-filled weekend—you’ve earned it! And as always, GO PIRATES! 🏴‍☠️💙
