We hope you've had a great Spring Break and are feeling ready to dive into this final stretch of the school year. It will be a unique return with state testing on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Below are all of the details to support your navigation of the schedule and testing structure, including relevant student guides.

The Student Guides provide a wealth of information that you and/or your student(s) may find helpful, including but not limited to, basic test information (sections and testing times), practice test opportunities, important information for both before the test and after, scoring information, score reporting, as well as testing policies and procedures. One of the important policies to be aware of is that students are NOT allowed to access any electronic devices from the time the test starts until the time it ends, including during any breaks that are a part of the testing session. This includes phones, tablets, smart watches, etc.

PCHS Community,

A few final updates to ensure everyone is set to go for testing:
  • On your testing day(s), there will be easels in the Commons listing your testing room. Arrive by 7:15am to ensure you've got enough time to find your testing location! There will be plenty of adults around to help you.
  • Be sure your Chromebook is fully charged and with you on testing day(s)! All state assessments are now digital.
  • There is no incentive to finish early. All students must remain in their testing room until the allotted testing time is up. This ensures an uninterrupted testing environment for all.
  • Get a good night’s rest. Eat breakfast (available at school, if needed). Snacks will be available in the commons during breaks.
  • See email below for the rest of the details.
You got this, Pirates!
