Hello Pirate Family and Happy "Teacher Appreciation Week" Friday!

As parents, I know I’m not alone in saying how deeply grateful we are for our incredible Pirate teachers and staff, not just during Teacher Appreciation Week, but every single day of the school year. This week simply gives us an extra opportunity to recognize and celebrate the amazing impact they have on our children through thoughtful cards, kind messages, social media shoutouts, and plenty of great food and treats!

Many of us can still remember the teachers who made a lasting difference in our own lives, and it is truly a privilege to have such caring, passionate, and dedicated educators supporting, inspiring, and nurturing our kids each day. It truly takes a village, and we are so fortunate to have a village full of amazing Pirates.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our parents, PTO groups, and community partners who have gone above and beyond to make our teachers and staff feel appreciated and celebrated this week. Your kindness and support mean so much! 🏴‍☠️♥️

As our Pirates continue to make us proud this spring sports season, we want to give a huge congratulations to our incredible Pirate Girls Track & Field team for winning their THIRD straight SEC White Championship and undefeated season! Competing against Chelsea, Adrian, Tecumseh, Jackson, and Ypsilanti, our PIRATES delivered an outstanding performance filled with determination, teamwork and grit! We are so proud of all of our Pirate athletes, coaches, and families for their hard work and dedication. Best of luck to the team as they head into Regionals next week at Chelsea. GO PIRATES!!🏴‍☠️💪

On Wednesday, the Pinckney Music Boosters were proud to announce the 2026 recipient of the Gail Winn Choir Scholarship for graduating seniors... Congratulations to Maren Estes! 🎉🎶

Maren was selected for her outstanding contributions to the Pinckney music program and the positive impact she has made throughout her years as a Pirate musician. We were especially honored to have Mrs. Gail Winn, former PCS Choir teacher, personally present the award to Maren during our Spring Concert celebration.

We are so proud of you, Maren, and can’t wait to see all the amazing things your next adventure will bring. GO PIRATES!! 🏴‍☠️🎼

As we head into the weekend, we have a special opportunity to honor and celebrate all of our incredible Pirate moms, and truly, all the amazing women who so selflessly give their time, love, and energy to caring for their families, including our extended Pirate Family here at PCS.

This Sunday, we hope they feel just how deeply appreciated they are. We simply could not do what we do without their unwavering support, strength, compassion, and encouragement each and every day.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful moms and caregivers in our community. Thank you for all you do to support, nurture, and inspire our children and our Pirate Family. You are deeply appreciated, loved, and celebrated!

Lastly, we want to wish our 2026 Seniors an amazingly fun, memorable and SAFE Prom as they will be spending their Saturday evening at Horse and Feathers celebrating their relationships and making more special memories as they prepare to finish their last week with us next week! Have a great time Pirates!!

GO PIRATES!! 🏴‍☠️♥️🏴‍☠️♥️
