Hello Pirate Family and Happy Pi Day Friday!!
As a former middle school math teacher, I can’t help but celebrate a day dedicated to one of the most fascinating infinite numbers—3.14159265358979323846264338327... (you know the one!). But even more than that, I’m here for my endless love of pie—apple, cherry, peach, pecan, coconut cream, key lime, and yes, even pizza pie! 🥧🍕😋 Infinite numbers, infinite flavors—what’s not to love?

It’s hard to believe that this Pi Day also marks the end of our 3rd Quarter! We’re just one week away from spring break and only eleven weeks from the last day of school—time is flying by! The spring sports season is in full swing at the high school, and there are so many exciting events and activities coming up in the weeks and months ahead, both in our district and the community.
This weekend, our high school theatre group, ACT2, will be performing their spring musical, Mean Girls. I highly encourage you to come out and support these talented Pirates—their shows are always incredible!
For those looking to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the community, don’t miss Pinckney’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade this Saturday, March 15th, at noon in the Village of Pinckney. Don’t forget to wear your green! 🍀 Let’s make the most of these fun events and finish the school year strong!

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news! The Pinckney Music Boosters will once again host one of the most impactful events for both our music program and the community—the Annual Mattress Sale! Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 26th. If you or someone you know is in the market for a new mattress, we encourage you to wait until April 26th. Not only will you find a high-quality mattress at an incredible price, but you’ll also be supporting our talented Pirate musicians. It’s a win-win for everyone! Don’t miss this opportunity to upgrade your sleep while making a difference for our students. 🎶🛏️

We’re always proud to share the LINK Connection Newsletter with our Pirate community! It’s a wonderful way to celebrate the incredible achievements of our students, both here at school and out in the community. Their hard work, creativity, and dedication never cease to amaze us, and we love having the opportunity to highlight their successes. Keep up the great work, Pirates—you make us proud!
We’re beyond excited to announce that former Pirate graduate, football standout, and current NFL defensive lineman Zach Sieler will be hosting a FREE football camp for our Pirates ages 8-14 on Saturday, June 14th! This is an incredible opportunity for our young athletes to learn from a pro who started right here in Pinckney. We’re so grateful for Zach’s continued support of our program and community—it’s a testament to the pride and passion of being a Pirate. Mark your calendars and don’t miss this amazing event! 🏈💛🖤

We’re definitely in the middle of "fake spring" this weekend with temperatures soaring into the 60s and 70s—but let’s be real, we know Mr. Winter probably isn’t done with us just yet! Still, we’re not complaining—we’ll take every bit of sunshine (or rain) and warmth we can get!
We hope everyone has an amazing weekend, especially as many of us kick off early celebrations for PIrish Day! Whether you’re rocking your green or cheering on the Pirates, let’s make it a fun and memorable one. 🏴☠️☘️🍀 Enjoy!
