PCHS Students,

We hope you had a wonderful winter break. We're looking forward to seeing you tomorrow! Here are a few reminders/recommendations to set you up for a strong start to 2nd Semester:

Review Your 2nd Semester Schedule
Check your 2nd Semester schedule and classroom locations. (All schedule change requests must be made by this Friday, January 9, during the class period needing the change. Priority will be placed on holes or errors in schedules, which should be minimal at this point.)

Prepare for the School Routine & Expectations
Clean out your backpack. Charge your Chromebook. Lay out your clothes and pack your bag before bed. Go to bed a little earlier. Eat something in the morning to fuel your brain (remember, free breakfast at school!). Prepare yourself mentally to place your phone in the caddy as you enter each class and to wait to retrieve it until the bell rings at the end of class.

Be Kind to Yourself & Others
If you're struggling, talk to a teacher, counselor, or trusted adult. If something feels off, speak up - we can't help if we don't know. Everyone is coming back from break differently. Give yourself grace as you readjust. Choose patience, respect, and our January character strength: optimism. :)

See you tomorrow, Pirates!
