Hello Pirate Family and Happy "Seniors Last Day" Friday!!

As both superintendent and parent of a 2026 Senior, today is a significant day for our Pirates as they conclude their thirteen year journey of learning in our classrooms. After finishing their final "FINAL" exams this morning, they begin transitioning into graduation mode as they turn in their Chromebooks, take care of any last minute fines and receive their cap and gown! As they leave the classroom for the last time today, we look forward to seeing them return for the Senior Sunset event this evening at 8pm, our Senior Awards Night on May 27, Graduation Rehearsal & Annual Senior Clap-Out, Senior All-Nighter on May 28, and culminating with Graduation on May 31 at 10am. This is such an exciting time for our Seniors, their families and community! 🎓

Over the past two weeks, we have had the pleasure of seeing our Pathfinder and High School musicians perform some of the most amazing concerts. We want to thank Mr. Kevin Welling and Mr. David Rega for their leadership and guidance; what they accomplish with all of our students in choir, orchestra and band is extraordinary! GO PIRATES!! 🏴‍☠️🎼

We are incredibly appreciative and grateful for our amazing M36 Rotary partners, who recognized nine outstanding students from PCHS, Pathfinder, and the LINK Program with the “Most Improved Student” Scholarship last night.
What makes this scholarship so meaningful is that it goes far beyond academics alone. This award honors students who have demonstrated tremendous resilience, perseverance, determination, and grit while overcoming challenges and adversity in their lives. Their stories are powerful reminders that growth, character, and courage truly matter.
It was especially meaningful to celebrate these students alongside their families, friends, staff members, and community supporters who have walked beside them throughout their journeys. We could not be more proud of not only what these students have overcome, but more importantly, the incredible young people they have become.
Congratulations to all of our scholarship recipients, and thank you again to the M36 Rotary for continuing to invest in and believe in our Pirates! GO PIRATES!! 🏴‍☠️💪

I know I am not alone in saying that I'm definitely looking forward to some warmer weather without worrying about potential for frost as we have flowers to plant, shorts to wear and I'd love to keep the windows open in the house! It is looking like the switch is getting ready to be switched to summer next week and I couldn't be happier! 😁 Hoping everyone has a great weekend, enjoys time outside and is ready to crush the final 13 1/2 days of school! LET'S GO PIRATES!! 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️
