[PSGuardian] PCS Weekly Update for 4-17-25

The weather this week has been a true showcase of Michigan in April—starting with wind chills in the 20s on Tuesday and climbing to nearly 80 degrees by Friday. If nothing else, the wild swings in temperature certainly reinforce how flexible and adaptable we Michiganders are!
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our partners at Eastern Michigan University for providing another outstanding cohort of future nurses who completed their final clinical placements with us this past semester. We deeply admire and appreciate this dedicated group for the vital support they offered to our students and staff across grades PreK–8. We wish them all the best as they embark on their nursing careers!

If you're a parent like me with kids in extracurriculars, this season can feel like a whirlwind—packed with athletic events, concerts, dance recitals, award ceremonies, and more. Our school days are beginning to reflect that same energy, as we work hard to make the most of every learning moment with our students. This time of year always presents new challenges with testing and busy schedules, but we remain committed to keeping the joy alive—helping students create positive memories they’ll carry with them long after they leave us… in just 34 school days!
