Hello,
I appreciate the several responses I have received from members of our Pirate community with additional information and what we can verify at this time is that Verizon is stating that they are aware of the issue and have provided a restoration time of 11:30 PM, but we are obviously hoping it will be sooner.
One area of concern we have at this time is the ability for those planning on coming to the Homecoming Game tonight to purchase tickets using their phone as many may be without cell service and will not be able to access the QR Code. What we are recommending is that if you are able, PLEASE PRE-PURCHASE YOUR TICKET PRIOR TO COMING TO PIRATE STADIUM USING THE FOLLOWING LINK: https://gofan.co/app/school/MI10053
ONCE YOU PURCHASE THE TICKET, WE WOULD ALSO ASK THAT YOU TAKE A SCREENSHOT OF YOUR TICKET SO THAT WE CAN VERIFY THE PURCHASE. IN THE INSTANCE CELL SERVICE IS STILL NOT AVAILABLE AT THE TIME OF THE GAME, WE WILL ALSO PROVIDE THE OPTION FOR CASH PURCHASE ($8/TICKET).
