Hello Pirate Families and Happy "Go Blue, Go Green" Friday!

It is rivalry week here in the great state of Michigan and regardless if you bleed maize & blue or green & white, the one thing we can all be united in is our pride and support for the Black & Red of our Pirates who continue to make us proud in the classroom, the athletic field, the stage and in our community as our students continue to shine everywhere they go! This was showcased last night during our Band-O-Rama concert in which our talented Pirate musicians from Pathfinder and the PCHS Fighting Marching Band put on an amazing show that was filled with Pirate enthusiasm, fun and pride. I encourage you to watch the two videos below that captures the talent of our band, along with thumping performance by the drum line. GO PIRATES!! 🏴‍☠️🥁

This past week has been recognized as "Bus Safety Week" in which our students have been educated on proper bus safety procedures, including practicing the process to safely exit the bus in an emergency. I would also like to share some resources provided by our transportation department which includes a video produced by AAA and attached letter from our own transportation director, Michael Breitenbecher.

This is exciting time of year for many of our students with the number of Halloween activities that are available throughout our community, which includes the ever popular Spooktacular event that will occur tomorrow evening in the Village of Pinckney Square. I also want to remind our parents that we do not have school on Halloween, which is next Friday, October 31.

There is no doubt that fall is here as the hoodies and flannels have been broken out and the yard is starting to be covered with leaves and for many, it is the best time of the year. I hope everyone in our Pirate community has a great weekend as it will be a perfect time to visit a cider mill, do some work outside, visit a Trunk or Treat event or gather with some friends to cheer on your favorite team. Thank you as always for the support and trust you provide as we work together to educate, nurture and love our Pirates! GO BLUE, GO GREEN AND MOST IMPORTANT, GO PIRATES!! 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️
