I'm having issues where my company, US based, can't update accounts in other countries. Whenever they do they're confronted with an exception about "'Address for business must match account country" which is weird since the country is identical to the one used in registration. For example, a user registers with Spain or Canada as their country, the Account gets created on Stripe, but when they try to update their account's address said error pops up and Stripe rejects their data. In the US this doesn't happen though. Very odd.

Anyone run up against this before? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Eric,

When you create the account you need to specify its country, and this cannot be changed. We default to your own country. It's likely you're not specifying country, so we set them all up as the US, and therefore raise an error when you try to change the address to a country that doesn't match.

Thanks,
Brian

Just for completion, here's where I went wrong:

I had a hidden field to display the business country depending on account type (I seed that data from the personal details), but the system was still sending the default (US) as the value on POST so I was, wrongly, setting the business country wrong on my end. User error the whole way :)
