Hi!

I'm experiencing an issue with Apple Pay integration on our WooCommerce store using Woopayments plugin. I've isolated a specific behavior that seems to be related to how shipping address validation is handled on single product pages.

Issue Description:

  • When customers click the Apple Pay button directly on a single product page, they receive an "invalid address" error
  • [Temporary Solution] However, if customers first add the product to cart (either via AJAX or page reload) and then use Apple Pay, everything works correctly.
This suggests the shipping address parameters aren't being properly passed to Apple Pay when initiated from single product pages.

Stripe team please help or fix this issue.

Hi there,

Thanks for raising this! This isn't something we can directly help you with as we can only work with developers building bespoke integrations on our APIs and products. In this case the correct approach would be to flag or continue to flag this to the platforms you're working with like those you mention, and that can work with us directly if there's a Stripe-side problem identified.
I will also flag this internally in case there's something we can investigate but I can't commit to any timeline or resolution there.

I hope this helps but please do not hesitate to get back to me if you need more details.
All the best,
Karl
