Hey all!

Stripe will soon be enabling support for TLS version 1.3 for all Stripe domains, including api.stripe.com. TLS 1.3 is the latest version, and has seen widespread adoption and success for several years. It offers latency reductions, and strong security guarantees. Stripe will not enable TLS 1.3 0-RTT (“early data”) support.

No action is required.

If your system supports TLS 1.3, it will automatically begin to use it once Stripe enables support on the Stripe side.
If your system does not support TLS 1.3, your system will continue to use the current Stripe supported version of TLS 1.2 without impact.

Stripe will continue to support TLS 1.2 for the foreseeable future, while it continues to be considered secure. Any deprecation of support for TLS 1.2 will be communicated here.
