Good afternoon,

The election process for the 2024 P4 Technical Steering Team (TST) is starting, and two things happen at this initial stage:

We clean up and verify the voting community
Nominations for the election are opened

Voting Community

Please take a moment to review the attached P4 community voting list and communicate changes by December 1, 2023. If you are not on the list and have made contributions in the last year, please let us know. If you would like to review the P4 Governance, you can do so here.

Steffen Smolka

2024 TERM ELECTION TIMELINE

2024 Timeline
November 21, 2023	Voting list compiled, open nominations. Notify community of upcoming vote, so members have an opportunity to amend information on voting list if incorrect and make nominations
November 24, 2023	Reminders
December 4, 2023	Close nominations. Send out election ballot; voting begins
December 7, 2023	Reminders
December 15, 2023	Voting ends
December 18, 2023	Runoff Election opened for voting if required, or new members announced if runoff not required
December 22, 2023	If runoff takes place, new TST members announced for 2024 term

For the 2024 P4 TST election, we have four nominees:

Fernando Ramos
Hari Thantry
Nate Foster
Steffen Smolka

You can learn more about the nominees and their goals for participating in the P4 TST here and in the attached document.

If you are an eligible voter, you should receive an email from Election Runner with the link to your ballot (you may need to check your spam/junk folder). Please let us know if you did not receive, and we can resend. As a reminder, voting closes December 15 at 5pm ET.
