The DPU is Marvell’s Octeon 10 with crypto, ML, and vpp acceleration in hardware. Vpp always does better with point-point traffic. See

My company has a patent pending P4toVPP/DPDK compiler for DPU and generic compute. Our compiler generates P4Runtime api.
