Ubuntu 26.04 problem

I tried to run hello_usempi.f90 and found it hangs on MPI_INIT(). In the
process of creating the outputs for a bug report, Ubuntu hangs on lstopo.
This bug has been reported to Canonical. Has anyone else seen either of
these problems on Ubuntu 26.04? My suspicion is that it is the same
problem. I see no point in putting in an MPI bug report if it is not an
MPI problem.

Put this in your environment to avoid the issue

export HWLOC_COMPONENTS=-gl

I'll enable this by default in the next release
