Please see below for information regarding the call for abstracts for the Universities Council on Water Resources (UCOWR) annual conference to be held in San Antonio, TX from June 8-10, 2026. The deadline to submit an abstract is January 16th. 

Undergraduate and graduate students - the national institutes for water resources (NIWR) offers a few competitive travel awards to help support students attending the UCOWR conference. Reminder: Abstract submission for the 2026 UCOWR/NIWR Water Resources Conference closes in two weeks. Join us for the 2026 UCOWR / NIWR Annual Water Resources Conference San Antonio, TX Hilton Palacio Del Rio June 8-10, 2026 UCOWR and NIWR invite you to engage with leading researchers, educators, water managers, students, and other professionals from across the globe as we seek to develop new and innovative collaborations and transdisciplinary solutions to complex water resource challenges. Abstracts (300 words max) for oral, poster, panel, lightning, and participatory should be submitted electronically. Notification of acceptance will be sent in late February. If accepted and presented, abstract will be available for viewing on the Conference Platform and App during and after the conference. The deadline to submit abstracts is Friday, January 16, 2025.
