Elnaz Pezeshki PHD Candidate with ECU will discuss how Saltwater intrusion is an emerging threat to coastal agriculture, particularly in low-lying regions like eastern North Carolina. By combining geophysical methods, field monitoring, and groundwater modeling, the study reveals how salt moves through the soil and groundwater systems—often through hidden pathways like drainage ditches.
How to Participate:
- Registration for the webinars is monthly and will be open one month in advance. You can attend any or as many webinars as you like.
- Register at least 24 hours prior to the webinar date(s) you plan to attend.
- PDHs will be awarded only to individuals who pre-register and sign into the webinar with the same name and email address as on their registration record.
- PDF certificates of attendance will be emailed to participants at the end of each webinar.
