Reminder: Community Collaborative Research Grant Funding Opportunity Now Accepting Applications

Good morning! 

Sharing a friendly reminder that the North Carolina Water Resources Research Institute (WRRI), NC Sea Grant, and the William R. Kenan, Jr. Institute for Engineering, Technology and Science (KIETS) are now accepting proposals for the Community Collaborative Research Grant (CCRG) program for projects to start in May 2026. The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. on January 23, 2026. Learn more, view the Request For Proposals and application materials, and apply here: https://wrri.ncsu.edu/funding/.

Funding is available for one-year projects and awards will range between $5,000-$25,000. The CCRG program requires a two-person team with a local knowledge expert and a scientific expert. Please share this opportunity widely with anyone who might be interested in applying.
