Practical ideas. Real conversations. April 14 in Southport.

Every year, lake professionals from across North Carolina gather for the NCLMS Spring Lake Managers Workshop.

Not because it’s a big conference.
But because it’s one of the few meetings where people openly share what’s actually happening in the field.

📅 April 14, 2026
📍 Brunswick Energy & Education Center | Southport, NC

Here’s why people attend:

Practical ideas you can use right away
From nutrient management and algae control to pond strategies and regulatory updates.

Real conversations with people doing the work
Consultants, researchers, utilities, managers, and students all in the same room.

A unique behind-the-scenes tour
We’ll kick off the day with a guided overview and tour of the Brunswick Nuclear facility, offering a rare look at large-scale water resource management.

And of course, plenty of time to connect with others working on lakes, ponds, and reservoirs across the state.

🕘 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
🍽 Lunch included

If you work with water in North Carolina, this is a room worth being in.

See you there!

P.S. The conversations during breaks and lunch are often where the best ideas come from.
