Summer 2026 Internship

The Center for Environmental Farming Systems (CEFS) Agroecology Scholars Program in Research and Extension (ASPIRE) Internship is recruiting undergraduate students interested in sustainable agriculture and food systems. 


The ASPIRE Internship prepares students with technical skills to meet complex food system challenges such as global climate change, food insecurity, and environmental concerns. Interns receive a $5,000 stipend, lodging, travel stipend, mentorship, access to hands-on cutting-edge research, professional development training, and an understanding of the impacts of agriculture on the environment and communities. Internship Dates:

May 18 – July 24, 2026

ASPIRE for students enrolled in an undergraduate program at a two-year or four-year college or university across the United States
