The Chapel Hill Farmers' Market is now accepting New Vendor applications for the 2026-27 Season. The application deadline is December 31, 2025.

Chapel Hill Farmers’ Market is a producer-only farmers market started in April 2008 by Farmers of Orange, a non-profit organization created by local farmers.  Our mission is to bring the highest quality vegetables, fruit, seafood, meat, and prepared foods, to nurture local small farms and businesses, and to bring our community together in celebration of local food. All of our farmers and artisans live within 60 miles of Chapel Hill, NC and bring the freshest fruits and vegetables, humanely raised meats, North Carolina seafood, ready to eat foods, and crafts to market year-round. Our vendors only sell what they grow or make themselves.

The Market is located at University Place, 201 S. Estes Dr. in Chapel Hill, and is open Saturday mornings year-round, and Tuesday afternoons April - November.

Becoming a member of the Chapel Hill Farmers’ Market is a competitive process wherein new members are chosen by our Board of Directors based on quality of product, the needs of the market and available space.

We are currently seeking new general-produce vendors, especially winter growers, as well as vendors selling high quality local products that are absent or under-represented at the Chapel Hill Farmers’ Market. Some of the products that we are particularly interested in are breads, cheeses, dairy products, ice cream, coffee, bagels, and ready to eat foods made with local ingredients.

Please submit your application through the appropriate Google Form available on our website, and submit your application fee of $30, no later than December 31, 2025. Your application fee may also be handed directly to the market manager at our market Saturdays between 9am and noon. We encourage prospective members to visit the market before applying. More information about our market is available at thechapelhillfarmersmarket.com
