Join ISED for the second part of our series on Mutual Aid, exploring this concept as a framework for community driven organizing!

Mutual Aid Part 2 - Building Community Power

Last month, we were joined by Antonio Roman-Alcalá of California State University East Bay and the Agroecology Research-Action Collective to offer us the history, background, and core concepts of Mutual Aid work. We also explored how this concept might fit the needs of your own communities and the work you want to support.

For part 2, Antonio will join us once again to recap the concept of mutual aid, and to cofacilitate a conversation with organizer Matt Bethelemey, who will share about his farmer mutual aid project Farm Buds. After hearing his presentation, Antonio and I will open up the conversation to you all, to help you think about where this work can live in your community.
