Organic Growers School is seeking an experienced Conference Director to lead our Annual Spring Conference, one of the Southeast's premier gatherings for organic growers and farmers.
This part-time role (averaging 25 hrs/week) owns the full lifecycle of the conference: shaping curriculum, directing a cross-functional team, managing speaker and vendor relationships, overseeing on-site logistics, and driving continuous improvement year over year.
The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of large-scale event planning and curriculum development experience, strong leadership skills, and a genuine commitment to sustainable food systems and equity. Candidates must be based in Western NC. Pay is $25.84/hour with part-time benefits.
