I decided to move the last step forward and upgraded to Ubuntu 24.04
LTS. I'm not sure about the freezing issue whether it has improved or
worsened, but what stroke me is to see that there is no more bold text
in the email window of SM. As you know, bold text is used to tell apart
those email messages unread. But new Gnome or Ubuntu seem to have a new
general font with no bold face???? Just some characters appear bold:
uppercase Q and U, question mark, lowercase F and L... That's weird.

Did anybody stumble upon this problem with the font rendering of the
email component of Seamonkey in Ubuntu 24.04 or Gnome 46? Thanks.

This tutorial brought me back the bold to the email window of SM!
