2.53.20 Crashes & Slow Loading

Since I have DL'd the latest flavour of SM 2.53.20, it has suffered constant crashing and slow loads in the browser and mail module.

Are the developers aware of this issue, yet?

Is there something I need to do to curb/change this behaviour?

From the other post, you're on Windows, correct?

A thing to check is whether you're using the 64-bit build of SeaMonkey,
unless you have a reason not to. The limited memory for 32-bit might
cause crashes on some hungrier web pages.

(Help->"About SeaMonkey", check what's in the "User agent" line, if it
says WOW64, it's a 32-bit build.)
