considering:
lxc-attach --version
4.0.9
which of the commands below is correct and are they necessary?
What do they do?

lxc.init.cmd = /lib/systemd/systemd systemd.unified_cgroup_hierarchy=0
lxc.init.cmd = /sbin/init systemd.unified_cgroup_hierarchy

lxc.init.cmd sets the command which will be run as the first process
in the container.

/sbin/init is usually a symlink to /lib/systemd/system, so the first part
is actually the same.

Systemd defaults to using v2 cgroups. Using systemd.unified_cgroup_hierarchy=0
reverts to v1 cgroups.
