Neural network inferencing benchmarks

Hello all;

I am curious to know how the investigation into neural network benchmarks will treat processor specific code functions, used to maximize performance of an processor.

Will they be excluded, preferring only a single C implementation ?

Will there be a limited set of functions that can be replaced for a specific processor ?
