[Release] Spark Cassandra Connector 2.5.2 and 3.0.1 are now available

We are proud to announce the release of the DataStax Spark Cassandra Connector Version 2.5.2 and 3.0.1.

The releases bring Storage Attached Index (SAI) support and a number of fixes and enhancements.

You can read about SAI advantages in DataStax docs. The connector now automatically detects SAI indexes and pushes down all eligible query predicates to the database. See SPARKC-621 for more information.

Other notable changes include

• Asynchronous page fetching (SPARKC-619)
• Cassandra Direct Join in the Spark SQL (SPARKC-613)
• Java Driver upgraded to 4.10 (SPARKC-640)
  

and a number of stability fixes. 

We recommend all 3.0.0 users to upgrade to 3.0.1 as it contains important fixes around session creation and session caching.
