Hi Guys,

We have been trying to figure out a way to configure our Cassandra Server to log all incoming CQL queries.

Can some help us with the classes we need to add in logback.xml ?

PS : Only these two lines are not able to help us.

<logger name="org.apache.cassandra" level="DEBUG"/>
<logger name="com.thinkaurelius.thrift" level="DEBUG"/>

Hi Puneet,

You might have better luck asking this question on the apache cassandra users mailing list. You can find description of cassandra mailing lists at http://www.planetcassandra.org/apache-cassandra-mailing-lists/

Puneet, to quickly answer your question, this cannot be currently done in Cassandra. However if you're using a DSE version, you can enable Audit Logging to get this functionality. Check it out here: http://docs.datastax.com/en/datastax_enterprise/4.8/datastax_enterprise/sec/secAudit.html
