All,

We are considering dropping JRuby 1.7.x support in a near-future release of the Ruby driver in favor of JRuby 9k support. This would free us from being MRI 1.9.3-compliant (since JRuby 1.7.x is MRI 1.9.3-compliant) and we'd be free to leverage language features introduced in Ruby 2.x. It would also simplify our test matrix.

Do any of you use JRuby 1.7.x? Or have all JRuby users already transitioned to JRuby 9k?
